Global tech company Yango, on Sunday, launched a new branch called Yango Play an AI-powered entertainment service that combines video streaming, music, and mini-games in one place in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The new feature offers a wider range of entertainment options, featuring exclusive premieres of both Arabic and international movies and series, personalized music streaming, and interactive mini-games, along with Yasmina, an AI-based Arabic voice assistant, said the firm.
Yango said Yango Play is available in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE and GCC countries where the users can subscribe across various platforms such as smartphones and televisions.
The bigger global rival Netflix Games have been succeeding with introduction of various arcade games based on movies and series, acquiring a maximum of over 1 million downloads in Google Playstore for its unique games from series like Stranger Things 3, and over 500 thousand downloads on Playstore for games from series called Money Heist.
In late October, Yango Tech launched an Arabic-speaking, human-like AI assistant Yasmina, which has the ability to be an empathetic companion as well as carry basic tasks like streaming music or turning on smart home appliances.
“We are deeply committed to enhancing these experiences through our original content and strategic collaborations with regional creatives, ensuring that each choice on our platform is a step towards discovering vibrant new emotions,” said Roman Shimansky, MENA Region Business Director at Yango Play.
