Wipro, IBM Partners to Offer New AI Services

IT services and consulting company Wipro partnered with IBM, global hybrid cloud firm on Tuesday. Wipro launched its Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ready Platform that will allow clients to create their enterprise-level, fully integrated and customized AI environments.

This service by Wipro will leverage IBM watsonx AI and data platform, including watsonx.ai, watsonx.data, watsonx.governance as well as AI assistants, to support clients with a consistent service that helps speed up AI adoption, the company said.

Almost a month ago, tech company Oracle extended its collaboration with telecom firm Etisalat by e& by deploying NVIDIA H100 GPU clusters within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) dedicated region, to enhance AI capabilities hosted at Etisalat by e& Data Centers.

Wipro also said the company along with IBM will fund IBM TechHub@Wiprosolution, which is designed to drive and support joint client pursuits through a centralized group of subject matter experts, engineers, assets, and processes. 

“Wipro’s Enterprise AI-Ready Platform will allow clients to easily integrate and standardize multiple data sources augmenting AI- and GenAI-enabled transformation across business functions,” said Nagendra Bandaru, President of Wipro Enterprise Futuring.

In late January, IBM introduced IBM watsonx and quantum computing in Korea, which assists in empowering generative AI and the next wave of computing technology by providing a full-stack solution.
