Electronic design and manufacturing firm Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) acquired TE Automotive Wireless business, provider of advanced automobile connectivity solution on Monday. The company said this acquisition was successfully completed on Friday.
TE Automotive Wireless business is owned by TE Connectivity Ltd. This collaboration is aimed to strengthen the relationship with the customers, partners and suppliers as well as provider better quality products to the automotive industry said the firm.
The acquired company will resume with its formal name ‘Hirschmann Car Communication’, as it is well known among the automotive industry said USI. The firm also said TE company will be led by the existing management team and will continue to be committed state of art automotive wireless solutions to its customers.
Jeffrey Chen, executive chief of USI said, “We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Hirschmann Car Communication into our corporate family, this strategic acquisition underscores our dedication to advancing automotive electronics and connectivity solutions”.

Taiwan-based firm USI focus on manufacturing and logistic industry. The firm acquired a French electronic company Asteelflash in December 2020, provide customers diversified products in the sectors of wireless communication, computer and storage, consumer, industrial, medical and automotive electronics across the four continents of Asia, Europe, Americas and Africa.
