Digital service provider Stc Group partnered with global tech company Microsoft on Thursday, to improve digitalization and drive innovation across the region of Saudi Arabia. This collaboration is aimed to develop and deploy innovative solutions for various industry giants, while enabling smaller enterprises to grow in digital economy.
Riyadh-based firm said it looks to enable its subsidiaries in exploring new markets, develop disruptive business models, and bring innovative products. Also, the company said it aims to support safe digital experience for businesses in the region.
“This collaboration isn’t just about technology, it’s about promoting a future where Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of global innovation, setting the standard for what’s possible in the digital age,” said Olayan Alwetaid, chief executive of Stc group.
“Together with Microsoft, we will work to bring the latest technologies to Saudi Arabia and help businesses of all sizes to embrace digital transformation, advance economic diversification, and create a more vibrant and prosperous future for our country,” Alwetaid added.

In October, Stc Bahrain, subsidiary of the firm launched 3CC (three-component-carrier), a telecom solution and mentioned it was the first operator to test and launch 5G 3CC technology.
Stc group is an engine of digital transformation and it has 14 subsidiary companies. It offers wider services encompassing digital infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), digital payments, digital media, and digital entertainment.
