SAP Partners SCCC for Digital Transformation Process in Saudi Arabia

The application software developer SAP partnered with cloud computing service provider Saudi Cloud Computing Company (SCCC) on Wednesday with an aim to strengthen the collaboration in the digital transformation realm in Saudi Arabia. As part of this partnership, SAP said it will host locally in the SCCC data centers, providing improved data security.

The new collaboration will allow businesses to access the software as a service (SaaS) model by leveraging SAP’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, said the company. This innovation is hosted on a secure, integrated infrastructure, reducing latency and data sovereignty issues.

ERP is a software system that is equipped with cloud technology and machine learning, used in the function of the business like supporting automation and processes in the main departments of a firm.

The agreement is contributing to the kingdom’s 2030 vision of innovation in the digital economy and digital transformation said German-based SAP. The firm also said this partnership will open new avenues of collaboration in the business sector.

Talal Al Bakr chief executive of SCCC, said “The partnership between SCCC and SAP is set to revolutionize the digital landscape in the region with the use of the Alibaba Cloud Computing Technology”
