The ISA 27001 standard, established by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), provides comprehensive guidelines for managing risks to information assets. “SmartThings receiving the ISO 27001 certification is the result of our sustained focus on protecting information in a hyper-connected world with exponentially increasing intelligence,” said Seungbum Choi, Executive Vice President at Samsung Electronics.
“But this is another step in our drive to fortify the platform’s security. We will continue to find new ways to ensure that SmartThings’ personalised services are provided even more safely,” he added.
