Temperature-controlled packaging provider Pelican Products appointed Kari Taylor as chief executive officer of the company’s subsidiary, Peli BioThermal, on Wednesday, replacing former CEO Douglas Ross.
This company said the change is executed with an aim to reflect the commitment to commercial development and growth in an ever-changing industry environment.
Peli BioThermal, owned by Pelican Products is a temperature-controlled packaging and service solution provider to the global life science industry. The cold supply chain ensures delicate biological materials arrive intact and effective, despite exterior environments.
The company said newly appointed executive chief has been serving as an advisor at Peli BioThermal since June this year. Taylor previously served in leadership roles at top global companies including Omnichannel marketplace RB Global, Benco Dental Supply and supply chain firm W.W. Grainger.
Taylor will be working along with James Curleigh, executive chief of Pelican Products. Curleigh took over a CEO of the company, effective September 12.
The former CEO, Douglas Ross held his position since 2022 and is now transitioning to the role of operating chief at Peli BioThermal. He will continue to oversee new product development and lead the engineering and quality functions.
“I’m incredibly honored to lead Peli BioThermal’s next chapter, with an opportunity to build upon a recognized brand, broaden our product portfolio, and strengthen key partnerships,” said Taylor.
“I look forward to working closely with our customers and the team to shape an evolving cold supply chain,” she added further.
