Nuvei’s Expands to APAC with New Office in China
Canadian fintech company Nuvei Corp said it has established a new operational office in China with a vision to expand its presence in Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, on Monday.
The company said it has a pre-established cross border clients as well as provide services and partnered with Chinese businesses like Geekbuying, an e-commerce platform, and Vakatrip, a travel booking platform. With its new increased footprint in the region, the firm is extending its global reach as well as servicing current and future clients with an enhanced local expertise and customer service.
A year ago, the fintech company established its outlet in Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong by acquiring licence. Additionally, the firm said it is expanding its businesses in APAC to connect with customers across the region by offering relevant alternative payment methods (APMs) to every customer from its suite of 634 APMs.
The firm partnered with the online trading platform MasterCard last month to offer instant online bank transaction, and established its foot print in Netherlands with their enhanced solution for alternative online payment method called iDEAL.
