Canadian finance firm Nuvei and tech giant Microsoft partnered to improve payment experiences for their customers of its products, solutions, and services across its key markets on Monday.
The fintech company said its knowledge and functions will benefit Microsoft as the tech firm consumes Nuvei’s customizable payment technology in the Middle East and the African region.
The Canadian company also said other benefits of its payment technology include optimised authorization rates through local acquisition and superior risk management that minimise false declines, and Nuvei’s ability to offer all of the relevant local alternative payment methods (APMs) to each market through a single integration.
Philip Fayer, chief executive of Nuvei stated, “Enabling Microsoft to connect to its customers across a wide range of products is testament to our technology and dedication to world-class customer service.”
“Whether it is a one-off purchase, software subscription, or in-game purchasing, payments are critical to our overall customer experience,” said Ajith Thekadath, vice president of Global Payments at Microsoft and added, “Partnering with Nuvei enables our customers to pay wherever they are and whenever they want to.”
Fayer also commented as to how two leading global companies explore and work more cooperatively boosts their commercial relationship. Nuvei is a financial service company that provides its customers with various payment technology solutions. The firm provides electronic payment technology solutions to merchants and partners in North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Latin America and Asia-Pacific regions.
