Commercial real estate advisor Newmark Group will expand its footprints by opening a new outlet in Paris on Monday, as part of the company’s global expansion to focus on capital markets and leasing.
The launch of its workplace in Paris, France initiated with the appointment of Francois Blin and Emmanuel Frénot as Chief Business Officer and Deputy Chief Officer respectively, to lead the team and focus on Capital Markets.
Blin was with JLL France for over two decades and, most recently, served as Director of Investment. Frénot worked with CBRE as Executive Director for five years and has been with the firm for nearly twenty years.
Additionally, the firm also hired Antoine Salmon and Vianney d’Ersu from a peer company, Knight Frank to lead retail operations, while also naming a few more to lead various other divisions.
“Our expansion into France with the amalgamation of such an impressive team is a significant milestone in our growth strategy and presents yet another opportunity to generate outstanding results,” said Barry Gosin, Chief Executive Officer of Newmark Group.
The company reported its fourth-quarter results on February 22. The revenue rose 23.1% to $747.4 million for the reported quarter, led by its leasing, fees from the signature transactions, management services and servicing fees.
