The space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) launched its new digital platform NASA+ on Wednesday. The new on-demand streaming service’s objective is to provide original content of NASA for all the age group.
The digital platform NASA+ contain the original video series like live launch coverage, kid’s content, Spanish-language programming, and the latest news also, it continues to improve life on Earth through innovation, exploration, and discovery, said the firm.
NASA+ is available online and the viewers can also download it on major platforms via NASA application on iOS and Android mobile devices said the space giant, the shows will also be streamed at platforms like Roku and Apple TV.
Audiences can access the content at zero cost and advertisement free said NASA. Additionally, NASA+ will program various shows like Emmy Award-winning live coverage, documentaries, animations, behind the scenes of scientific work and more.
Earlier this year, NASA said it launched its revamped nasa.gov and science.nasa.gov websites, creating a new homebase for research, climate data, Artemis information, and more.
“NASA is a leader in the federal government for creating inspirational content that meets people where they are,” said NASA Deputy Administrator Pam Melroy.
“I am excited we have created a powerful trifecta with the recently revamped NASA website, the launch of NASA+, and the updated NASA App that showcases the many benefits our data can have for all humanity,” Melroy added.
