NAIA Developments Partners with Accor to Launch Swissôtel Properties in Ras El Hekma

Egyptian-based real estate developers NAIA Developments has announced a significant partnership with Accor, a global hospitality service provider, to launch two Swissôtel properties in Ras El Hekma, Egypt. The collaboration will see the development of the Swissôtel Hotel and Swissôtel Residences at NAIA Bay, marking a milestone in Egypt’s coastal tourism industry.

The new properties will include 250 hotel rooms and 100 branded residences, offering panoramic sea views and wellness-focused amenities. This project aims to elevate Ras El Hekma’s status as an international destination, capitalising on the region’s unspoiled Mediterranean coastline and attracting global attention.

Accor’s expansion into Ras El Hekma aligns with its broader strategy to grow its presence in Egypt, where it already operates 24 hotels and plans to add more properties by 2027. The Swissôtel project is part of NAIA Developments’ vision to enhance Egypt’s North Coast, a region increasingly popular among Egyptian and Gulf Cooperation Council nationals.

“We are proud to partner with NAIA Developments to develop this beautiful stretch of coastline and ring in a new era for Egypt’s coastal tourism industry,” said Duncan O’Rouke, Chief Executive Officer for Accor’s Premium.

“With our Swissôtel openings, we will offer global standard services and facilities for leisure travellers, business travellers, and residents alike, with the development also being an enticing investment opportunities,” he added.

The Swissôtel properties are part of a broader plan to transform Ras El Hekma, which recently secured a USD 35 billion investment from UAE’s Abu Dhabi Sovereign Wealth Fund (ADQ). This development is expected to establish the region as a year-round city with diverse residential and hospitality offerings, making it a prime location for investment.
