Digital access provider Mitek Systems appointed David Lyle as chief financial officer of the company on Tuesday, effective from January 2, 2024, taking over from Fuad Ahmad, its interim CFO.
The software company said Lyle will report directly to Max Carnecchia, chief executive of Mitek Systems, and will oversee global finance and accounting, information technology and security, and facilities.
Lyle, most recently, worked as chief financial officer at Surgalign Spine Technologies since March 2022. He has over fourteen years of experience as CFO and more than 25 years of experience in technology markets while having served in leadership roles in both public and private organizations in high-growth technology companies.
Fuad took over the role of interim chief financial officer with the company in January 2023, after Frank Teruel stepped down as CFO. Prior to which, Fuad worked at Iridex as CFO from November 2020.
Former CFO Teruel worked with Mitek Systems since June 8, 2021. He, currently, is the chief financial officer at Arkose Labs, backed by SoftBank, USVP, Wells Fargo, PayPal, and Microsoft.
