Global technology consulting and digital solutions company LTIMindtree, and IBM Quantum Network, on Wednesday, collaborated to explore quantum computing innovation for the advantage of its global consumers from different industries.
The company stated LTIMindtree is the first global system integrator (GSI) in India to join the IBM quantum network.
LTIMindtree will also partner with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, an IBM quantum innovation centre, on cooperative quantum research and workforce development, added the firm.
Quantum technologies have caused vibrations in many aspects of society, prompting businesses and corporations to pave the way for quantum development and integration.
Quantum technologies have the potential to enormously enhance the speed of the finest supercomputers, improve the security of communication networks, and improve the precision of present measurements.
In November 2023, LTIMindtree launched quantum-safe virtual private network (VPN) with the collaboration of Quantum Xhange and Fortinet, cybersecurity providers, in London, with an aim to work towards the era of quantum-secure communications and protect information of its clients.
“We are also looking forward to providing technology support for LTIMindtree’s joint research and educational engagements with IIT-Madras, our first IBM quantum innovation centre in India,” said Scott Crowder, Vice President of IBM Quantum Adoption and Business Development.
Mumbai-based IT services and consulting company, LTIMindtree enables enterprises across industries to reimagine business models, accelerate innovation, and maximize growth by harnessing digital technologies.
