Financial service provider, Lendingkart on Wednesday appointed Mukund Barrsagade, former Financial Chief of fintech company Paytm Payments Bank, as its new Chief Financial Officer.
The newly appointed Financial Chief brings more than three decades of experience in the Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) and IT sectors as well as extensive expertise in financial management and strategist.
Barrsagade, most recently served as the CFO in Vijay Sharma’s Paytm Payments Bank for about two years, where he was responsible for managing the finances of the digital bank and before which he was with Utkarsh Small Finance Bank for about 4 years serving the same position.
The newly named Financial Chief has worked with prominent financial institutes including Fino Payments Bank India, Factoring and Finance Solutions Private Limited, Experian, Axis Bank and more in various leadership roles.
“He will be critical in helping to drive the step-up in Lendingkart’s performance that we are all determined to deliver,” said Harshvardhan Lunia, Executive Chief of Lendingkart reported to Economic Times. Earlier this month Paytm Payments Bank’s Executive Chief Surinder Chawla resigned from his position effective on June 26, on accounts of personal reasons and to explore promising professional prospects.
