IT services and consulting firm Infosys, on Tuesday, launched Responsible AI (RAI) which is a part of Infosys Topaz, AI-first set of services, solutions and platforms using generative AI (GenAI) technologies.
The company said the advent of powerful GenAI systems in the past year has sparked various concerns and discussions about AI’s ethical implications.
The RAI suite is intended to assist organizations in balancing innovation with ethical considerations such as prejudice and privacy prevention, as well as maximizing their return on investment, added Infosys knowledge institute’s GenAI radar.
Infosys Topaz helps in amplifying the potential of humans, enterprises and communities to create value from unprecedented innovations, pervasive efficiencies and connected ecosystems.
It features over 12,000 AI assets, 150 pre-trained AI models, and over 10 AI platforms led by AI-first specialists and data strategists, as well as a ‘responsible by design’ approach that prioritizes ethics, trust, privacy, security, and compliance with regulations.
Recently, software developer ServiceNow collaborated with NVIDIA to introduce telco-specific generative AI solutions to elevate service experiences for telecom operations.
“With the challenges of RAI currently forcing many enterprises to slow their progress towards achieving scaled value with AI, offerings such as Infosys Topaz’s RAI suite can clear the path to help them accelerate their critical AI initiatives,” said Phil Fersht, CEO of HFS Research.
Bangalore-based Infosys is a next-generation digital and consultation provider, founded in the year 1981. It enables clients in over 50 countries to navigate their digital transformation.
