Deloitte Digital Lays Generative AI Forecast for Content Marketing

Deloitte Digital’s said generative artificial intelligence (AI) is making significant changes in marketing content production, in its latest research on Tuesday. The study revealed 26% of marketers surveyed are already incorporating generative AI into their content creation and an additional 45% have plans to do so by the end of 2024.

The report surveyed about 650 marketing leaders from various sectors in US, which revealed a 56% rise in the volume of content that were to be produced last year, while 65% of companies are concerned about intellectual property or legal risk of using generative AI.

Additionally, generative AI users reported on saving an average of 11.4 hours per week, helping workers to focus on more valuable and strategic tasks as well as demand for marketing content grew by 1.5x in 2023, said the research data.

Deloitte Digital said, it recently sponsored creative conference Adobe MAX that held between October 10 and October 12 in Los Angeles, California. The conference focused on offering insights into the future of content marketing as well as exhibited Deloitte’s experience in content supply chain and generative AI.

“By working alongside artificial intelligence, businesses are empowered to create high-quality, personalized content efficiently, giving them a competitive edge in today’s digital marketplace,” added Mike Brinker, Content Studio leader at Deloitte Digital.

Additionally, Deloitte said it is increasing AI fluency by training over 120,000 professionals, as well as investing over $2 billion in global technology learning and development initiatives to boost skills in application of key technology areas, including AI, to key industry and functional issues.

“In today’s hyper-connected digital landscape, content marketing is the backbone of successful customer engagement,” said Beth Adams, managing director at Deloitte Digital.
