Technology Company Beyon, on Wednesday, announced a partnership with Silicon Valley-based data analytics and cloud company, LigaData to develop a pioneering Data Lakehouse, serving as a centralised repository for Beyon Group’s data. This initiative aims to future-proof Beyon’s data infrastructure by leveraging advanced cloud technologies.
The agreement, signed by Beyon CTO Saurabh Gupta and LigaData CEO Bassel Ojjeh at Beyon’s headquarters in Hamala, Bahrain, was attended by Beyon CEO Mikkel Vinter, Batelco CTO Rashed Mohamed, LigaData COO Khaled Jaouni, and other senior executives.
Powered by LigaData, the Data Lakehouse will integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources into a single platform. This hybrid technology combines the flexibility of a data lake with the structure of a data warehouse, enabling faster development of data and AI applications while enhancing data governance.
LigaData will also develop AI-powered applications for key business use cases to support Beyon’s personalised customer services.
