Hospitality firm Banyan Tree Group, on Thursday, said it will rebrand its name to Banyan Group which encapsulates its subsidiaries to expand and venture into the international market.
The firm said it is aiming to venture into new geographical locations this year including 19 new properties and residences in Cambodia, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and Mexico.
Banyan Group said it manages 12 brands, under which it runs 75 hotels and resorts, over 60 spas and galleries and 14 branded residences spread across 22 countries.
Found in 1994, the Group specializes in hotel management, service experience, spa operation, food and beverages. The firm’s portfolio revolves around 10 global brands, like Banyan Tree, Angsana, Cassia, Dhawa, Folio, Garrya, Homm, and Laguna.
Additionally, the firm will feature two Banyan Tree brand extensions: Banyan Tree Escape and Banyan Tree Veya.
Banyan Group said it looks to align with United Nations Climate Science-based targets to develop a comprehensive 2030 sustainability roadmap that addresses both environmental and human capital development in line with its founding ethos of embracing the environment, and empowering people.
