Logistics solution firm ACL Airshop, on Monday, appointed Bernhard Kindelbacher as the Chief Executive Officer, effective on March 1, succeeding Steve Townes, who will now assume the role of Vice Chairman in the firm.
Kindelbacher, previously worked at Lufthansa Cargo for over three decades, serving various senior leadership roles, Later, he succeeded to roles in designing and implementing numerous transformations.
Additionally, he was also responsible for the collaboration with its peer ANA, United Cargo and Cathay Pacific.
Townes has been with the firm for about eight years, and his leadership is reflected in the positive growth of the firm. He is also the Executive Chief of Ranger Aerospace, parent company of ACL Airshop, serving since 1997. He was CEO of various airline firms including Keystone Helicopter, Aircraft Service International Group (ASIG), and Ranger International Services Group.

Airlines and Aviation firm ACL Airshop provides Unit Load Devices (ULD), cargo control and air freight products and services for the aviation industry. ULD refers to containers and pallets used in the aviation industry for the transportation of cargo and baggage on aircraft.
