Technology services and consulting company Wipro appointed insider Anne-Marie Rowland as Chief Executive Officer of its subsidiary Capco on Wednesday, effective April 1.
Rowland has been currently working with tech and management consultancy firm Capco as Managing Partner in United Kingdom and Ireland for 14 years. She also worked with Accenture for four years as part of its capital markets consulting practice.
Rowland will be taking over the new role from Lance Levy, who has been the CEO of Capco for nearly a decade.
Wipro said Levy is stepping down from the CEO’s place to take a new role as Strategic Advisor and continue to support Capco’s strategic direction and Wipro’s overall consulting strategy.
He joined the company in 2015 as the Chief Executive. Before joining Capco, Levy held a senior position at Accenture for over a decade, heading three regions. In all, he has over 25 years of expertise in the finance, technology, and professional services sectors.
Recently, Capco and Innowatts partnered to reduce energy clients’ exposure to market risk, among other difficulties. Innowatts’ AI energy data analytics platform will be combined with Capco’s proven delivery and technological capabilities in retail energy and utility markets.
Over a week ago, the parent company of Capco partnered with Nutanix, multi-cloud computing company, to launch a new business unit to aid mutual clients in maximizing the value of Nutanix Cloud investments.
