LTIMindtree, Aramco Digital to Launch Tech Firm in SA

Global technology consulting and digital solutions company LTIMindtree and its peer in Middle East Aramco Digital, on Wednesday, signed a shareholders’ agreement to launch an IT services firm in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

LTIMindtree said the potential company, formed in partnership with the subsidiary of Aramco, would demonstrate innovation in action, such as disruptive digital services and transformative industry 4.0 system integration capabilities.

The L&T subsidiary also said the collaboration is expected to support the kingdom’s vision for 2030 by providing Saudis with highly trained jobs in this industry.

Cloud computing service provider Saudi Cloud Computing Company (SCCC) partnered with the application software developer SAP to strengthen the collaboration in the digital transformation realm in Saudi Arabia, in October 2023.

The joint venture is being formed as part of the Aramco Namaat Industrial Investments Program, (which aims to create strategic partnerships that drive Saudi Arabia’s economic progress and diversification), added the firm.

With Aramco Digital, we will bring our capabilities and expertise and leverage new technologies to deliver digital transformation suitable for giga projects, the government sector, high growth industries, energy, manufacturing, and the financial services sector,” said SudhirChaturvedi, President at LTIMindtree.

In February, LTIMindtree partnered with Eurolife FFH by signing a MoU to construct the first GenAI and Digital Hub in Athens, as well as specific facilities in Poland, Europe, and Mumbai, India.

In 2023, LTIMindtree launched Quantum-Safe Virtual Private Network (VPN) with the collaboration of Quantum Xchange and Fortinet, cybersecurity providers, in London.
