R Systems, IIT Delhi Collaborates to Establish Applied AI for Sustainable Systems
Digital product engineering company R Systems signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-Delhi) on Monday, to extend its commitment to artificial intelligence (AI).
The company said it will establish a center of excellence (CoE) on applied AI for sustainable systems at IIT Delhi, to feature a research lab and the establishment of merit-based student scholarships.
Engineering company also said this CoE’s effort is likely to improve R Systems’ and IIT Delhi’s research and development capabilities.
“This collaboration will facilitate the industry-academia partnership aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical application of AI solutions,” said Nitesh Bansal, CEO of R Systems International Limited.
Most recently, Larsen & Toubro-owned LTIMindtree partnered with insurance company Eurolife FFH by signing an MoU to construct the first GenAI and Digital Hub in Athens.
R Systems based in Noida, India is digital product engineering company that designs and develops chip- to-cloud software products, platforms, and digital experiences. They serve key players in the high-tech industry, as well as product companies in telecom, media, finance, manufacturing, and health verticals.
IIT Delhi, founded in 1963, is an Indian centre of excellence for training, research, and development in science, engineering, and technology.
