Software developer ServiceNow in collaboration with NVIDIA computer hardware manufacturing introduced telco-specific generative AI solutions on Sunday, to elevate service experiences for telecom operations.
The firm said the solution called Telecommunications Service Management (TSM), is built on its Now platform which uses NVIDIA AI to boost agent productivity, speed time to resolution and enhance customer experiences.
TSM is a ServiceNow module designed for the telecommunications industry, which is a unified platform for managing, automating, and optimizing telecommunications services, networks, and customer relationships, stated a ServiceNow employee.
The firm said, features of Now Assist, a tool used for app development, utilize ServiceNow’s language models, enhanced by NVIDIA Triton Inference Server.
Also, this is customized with NVIDIA NeMo, part of the hardware manufacturer’s AI Enterprise software platform, for deploying robust AI applications including generative AI cutting-edge innovation for business-critical use.
“Together, ServiceNow and NVIDIA will help telcos realize unprecedented business value and impact, fast, this is just the beginning of a large-scale transformation for the industry,” said Rohit Batra, General Manager and Vice President for Telecom, Media, and Tech at ServiceNow.
In December, ServiceNow signed a deal to acquire task mining company UltimateSuite to enhance the process of mining and intelligent automation across the Now Platform as well as strengthen automation and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to help its clients identify troubles and drive strong operational efficiencies.
