Infrastructure provider Peak Utility Services Group appointed Michael Lennon to take over as the company’s Chief Executive Officer on Thursday, taking over from Christopher Larocca.
Lennon has held leadership roles as Chief Executive at two different companies, while also co-founding them namely, PrimeLine Utility Services and InfrastruX Group, utility service providers.
Lennon is an experienced industry CEO, having previously led two other private equity-backed utility infrastructure firms from start-up through successful exit.
Larocca will step down from his role but remain on Peak’s board and CEO of Network Connex, data centre service provider. Most recently, he served as CEO of Peak Utility Services Group and at Network Connex. He also has held various leadership roles in manufacturing and artificial intelligence companies with CEO experience.
Peak and Network Connex are portfolio companies of a fund managed by ORIX Capital Partners, diversified financial group active across the globe in leasing, financing, private equity investment, asset management, renewable energy investment and operations.
Lennon, the newly appointed CEO said, “I look forward to continuing to drive Peak forward along the path Chris has set, and to the opportunity to work with the Peak team to take the company to new heights, both in existing and new markets.”
The Denver-based company provides maintenance, repair, upgrade, and maintenance services for the telecom, electric, and natural gas infrastructure markets in the United States.
