Information and communication solutions provider ZainTECH said it agreed to acquire Specialized Technical Service Co (STS), digital transformation provider, on Monday with an objective to expand its cybersecurity, robotics and drone services to Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The subsidiary of Zain group said the complete acquisition of STS looks to expand its services to enterprises and government bodies, access top talent, foster innovation, as well as enhance its competitive position across the MENA region.
STS was established in 1989 and contributes to the digital transformation scene in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Iraq region. The Jordan-based firm is known for hybrid multi-cloud solutions, robust managed cloud services, and comprehensive cybersecurity.

In late May, Dubai-based ZainTECH acquired cloud-native engineering firm Adfolks LLC to expand technology service and offer holistic solutions to customers.
