MENA EV SHOW 2023 Brings Brands, Experts to Discuss Future of EVs

The MENA EV Show 2023 successfully completed two days of discussions, innovations, and networking scheduled late September, at Dubai Silicon Oasis. The event was organized by INOEX Global and co-hosted by Dubai Silicon Oasis.

The event brought in brands across the globe which gave participants an opportunity to delve into cutting-edge exhibits, featuring latest EV models such as Tesla, Polestar and BYD, charging infrastructure solutions including Sungrow, and renewable energy technologies like Shams+.

The conference had significant speakers from the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, Supreme Council of Energy, Ministry of Infrastructure Development, as well as Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), delivering presentations on current developments in the EV sector, upcoming schemes, and taxation policies, while also addressing the queries of consumers as well as companies from the general audience.

There were industry experts and leaders who shared their insights and vision for the future of EVs through informative discussions. Samir Yajnik, chief executive of Electra EV said he was impressed how the MENA EV Show was organized that enabled lots of networking with brands and experts.

Veronica Giles, assistant director of events at Dubai Silicon Oasis said, the topic of MENA EV Show is what intrigues us to collaborate with INOEX Global as Electric Vehicles and future mobility is one of the sectors that is developing here within Dubai Silicon Oasis.

This show acted as a platform to connect with like-minded professionals and enthusiasts in creating networks that drives the adoption of EVs and sustainable transportation solutions across the MENA landscape.

“The MENA EV Show is a great initiative that brings experts from different areas of EV tech and creates dialogue, opens perspectives and encourages partnership for an EV future”, said Izabella Anna Rekiel, Impact Correspondent to Business Tabloid.

The EV show had over 200 participants who shared the same vision of a sustainable future from across the globe. Majority of the audience raised their doubts concerning charging stations, fares and risks during panel discussions, where speakers representing brands that offer batteries and charging solutions stepped up to address these challenges.

“If you look at Dubai, UAE as a government, they are providing a platform for EV ecosystem players to meet, interact, have conferences and exhibitions, to collaborate and address their challenges”, said Ravindran Nambiar, president at Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility.

The show had a separate segment called BC Lounge on both days, hosted by Barbara Cardilli, CEO of LabCardi, interviewing entrepreneurs with a green mobility vision representing their varied brands.

“It is nice to see the push towards innovation and electrification, which is absolutely fundamental for the future, along with the necessity in moving towards a more sustainable environment”, said Barbara Cardilli to Business Tabloid in an interview.

Diverse brands such as Railbus, based in Delaware, USA, MP Warranties, which offers vehicle warranty policy plans, and global dealer of leading brands Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Co were present in the exhibition.

Shams+ by Al Masood also participated in the exhibition, where it provided an opportunity for attendees to experience SHAMS+ Charge 3D mock-up and learn more about its advanced features that contribute to a more sustainable and eco-friendly mobility landscape.
