Windrose, Goodman Partners for Heavy-Duty Trucks’ EV Fast-Charging Infrastructure

Property specialist Goodman Groups partnered with electric truck developers Windrose Technology, on Monday. The aim of the partnership is to develop essential EV (electric vehicle) fast-charging infrastructure for heavy duty trucks at Goodman properties.

The firm said it will share technical and sustainability expertise to test and install fast-charging stations, initiate at selected Goodman properties in China and then later expand to United States, Europe and Australia.

California-based Windrose specializes in zero-emissions heavy-duty class 8 trucks (huge trucks with Gross Vehicle Weight Rating over 33,001). The firm said it will build a next generation, zero emission and heavy-duty trucks with an objective to serve customers to move with effortlessness, cross-border commerce and logistics around the world.

In September, Kerry Logistics said it would support Windrose testing of its zero-emissions trucks starting from 2023 to evaluate and plan the deployment of zero-emissions heavy-duty trucks in Kerry Logistics’ operations in both, China and Hong Kong.
