Amundi Revamps Leadership Roles

European asset management firm Amundi appointed Domenico Aiello, financial chief as new chief executive of Amundi Italy on Friday, and Aurélia Lecourtier will replace Aiello, effective from November 1.

The newly named chief executive has worked with Amundi since 2017 and was in the role of financial chief since 2019, said the company. Aiello joined the group as chief financial officer following the acquisition of Pioneer Investments.

Aiello, previously, worked in a European bank UniCredit for 9 years as head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He joined the bank in 2002, after a 6-year experience in investment banking at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London where he focused on financial institutions.

Aurélia Lecourtier, newly appointed CFO is with Amundi since 2021, as chief of staff at Valérie Baudson, a division of the company. Prior to this, she was in the role of chief of staff at Minister for Action and Public Accounts, said the company.

Lecourtier was also the member of Cour des Comptes where she held various financial positions in the government’s general secretariat, including the Ministry of Finance and the office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Late June, the company also underwent other leadership changes, which includes Olivier Mariée wascis, chief executive officer of CPR AM was named head of JVs supervision and Céline Boyer-Chammard, sustainable transformation chief was appointed head of Sustainable Transformation and Organization.
