Apple Launches Long-Awaited iPhone 15 in California

Global tech firm Apple, on Tuesday, launched iPhone 15 along with its relative series of iPhone 15, all of which was manufactured for the first time in India.

The company also introduced new Apple Watch series and AirPods Pro with USB-C functionality, at the event at Apple’s Cupertino, California. The company said in over 40 countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan, the UAE, the UK, and the US the latest version of iPhone will be available for pre-orders from September 15, which will be available at the market starting September 22, Friday.

The newly launched iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be available in Macao, Malaysia, Turkey, Vietnam, and 17 other countries and regions from September 29.

The iPhone 15 line-up is also introducing the next generation of portraits, which makes it easier to capture images with better detail and low-light performance. Building on Apple’s innovative satellite infrastructure, the company said roadside assistance via satellite can connect users to American Automobile Association if there is car trouble while off the grid.

Apple said iOS 17 will be available as a free software update on September 18, Monday. The company also mentioned that Apple will no longer use leather in any of its new products, including iPhone accessories.
