Ubitus partners with L’Oréal’s Dermatological Beauty

Ubitus K.K., known for their cloud infrastructure said it is partnering with L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division on Wednesday, with an objective to launch Perfect Skin Expo, a metaverse showroom in Taiwan between August 30 and September 30, 2023.

Perfect Skin Expo is an endeavour that leverages metaverse with a unique virtual showroom to exhibit and offer products from L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division. Ubitus said each showroom has distinct and vivid design theme that matches each brand’s image. The company added that customers can navigate to each showroom, explore products of interest, and make purchases through links to Taiwan’s leading e-commerce platforms, momo and Shopee.

Meta platforms have long since begun offering a part of their platforms for brands and labels across the globe to promote as well as sell their products and services. The convenience of shopping with vast information at fingertips, pictures, video clips, and 3-D presentation formats, together turn the metaverse showroom an attractive alternative to in-store shopping.

For consumers to have one of a kind experience with this metaverse shopping, Ubitus contributes to the Expo its cloud gaming technology, including ray-tracing with minimal latency. The cloud streaming platform’s interactive technology enhances customers’ satisfaction while shopping online.

“This collaboration with L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty Division shows that high-tech and beauty can join and create something exciting,” said Wesley Kuo, chief executive of Ubitus.
