Vodafone boosts packages to help small business in Europe

The telecom giant Vodafone has announced to launch packages that will boost small business in Europe.

The packages are designed to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Europe, initially the packages will be available in the UK, Spain and Italy with additional markets coming to Europe in the following months.

Around 3.65 million European SME’s and SOHOs is supported by Vodafone through their digital journeys.

The digital business advice service by Vodafone is already available in Spain, Germany, UK and Italy, which is capable of providing expert support to European SME customers on topics such as digital marketing, website construction, security and remote working.

Over 1.2 million business in Europe are now using V-Hub knowledge centre, which provides access to videos, webinars and online guides.

In the month of April 2021, Vodafone had launched a comprehensive support package for jobseekers in Europe, South Africa, Egypt and Turkey, combining price discounts and data offers, continued access to learning and skills with Udemy and Vodafone’s Future Jobs Finder tool.

In some Markets Vodafone is also donating Facebook advertising to jobseekers which will help them to promote their profiles using Facebook banner advertising to reach hiring managers.

The company had announced to invest €20 million over the next five years to expand education programmes and foundation of digital skills by funding local initiatives in Vodafone markets.

The Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Business, Vinod Kumar, said:

“Together we can enable small businesses to benefit from the right tools, skills and support they need to digitally transform, quickly and confidently. These packages are designed to provide the technical building blocks for success as well as the advice needed to use them well.”
