Bank Nizwa, One among Oman’s leading Islamic bank has profitably achieved its set targets of its maiden 5 year plan (2016-2020) and is now set on a new growth path.
Since launching its operations in January 2013, the bank now provides a full range of banking solutions to individuals, small and medium size enterprises, corporations and government institutions.
Despite the unimaginable challenges brought by COVID-19 pandemic throughout the year. The bank has managed to stand against all the odds even though Oil prices were consistently low and also various uncertainties that developed in the market.
Bank Nizwa showed remarkable profitability in 2020 and it has also acknowledged the efforts of Wholesale Banking Group.
While the CEO addressed the milestones the bank achieved in the event, a new strategy for 2021 themed ‘Combined Synergy’ was put forth.
The Bank offers an entire portfolio of commercial banking services, in accordance with the license issued by the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) and the Banking Law promulgated by the Royal Decree No. 114/2000.
The Oman bank’s wholesale Banking group has signed landmark agreements with multiple organisations supporting public and private participation by providing Sharia-compliant services and financing to leading projects.
